After slowly building up 200 zkeys over the years and then waiting a few months for a chance at the April tonic, I finally burned them all for the hom statue at the beginning of the month and now they added guaranteed drops to the chest...

I tried this out for a bit. I can finish one cycle of this pretty consistently in a little shy of four minutes. 15 proofs an hour = 3 Anniversary/Balth weapons per hour, which seems like a decent rate for anyone that really wants to grind this out for a long amount of time.

hello mates,
the hype would have been much "more real" and bigger, if they would have given us a proper and final balance update for all professions instead of silly new weapons.
What is the best looking wepaon good for, when your profession and a lot of skills suck?

I am immensely disappointed by the Monk weapon. Melee characters get cool stuff like dual axes, non-Monk casters get a variety of nice sword-skinned wands and even the Ritualist, who gets a staff, at least gets a good staff skin. Monk gets... wait for it... ghostly staff.

How can you be disapointed seriously ?
Just read the first page of this topic, NO ONE was expecting that much new content.
It is not big but it is still 2 new sets of weapons but it is much more than what we expected at first.

well, my ele is pleased with her new toy, and melonni got a real scythe (instead of the free eye one).
and all of my alt accounts are happy to have more storage (I will NEVER turn down the chance to hoard more stuff

(and yes, it would have been nice if they had gotten a full new set for the decade ones...like perhaps the staff that the dwarves have?)

According to the wiki update, Raisu Palace is it's own region but when I completed it I didn't get a proof. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm at 19 proofs and can't get the last one.

Raisu Palace probably goes with Shiro.
Have you done Vizunah/Tahnkai/Naphui/Sunjang ?

shiro or raisu? I think they might consider those both to be that one.

by the way I didnt get the notice of being a legend on my ranger who had not done missions in kryta,...but I think I got the proof (I cant remember how many I had at the time, but I had at least one in my inventory to keep the space open for another)...does this cause issues?

I did Sunjiang to see if the last proof was there and no luck. The only thing that sucks about this is that I started out of order because I didn't know how the proofs were awarded. So now I'm wondering what region I missed between Prophecies, Factions and NightFall...

so I took a look at what you need to get the proof of steel and all you need is to participate in 3 matches (yeah I never pvp'd before so...winning was out of the question, though I did win one match, somehow---)

so I was able to get a proof of steel and took a screen of it as well as the items you can trade it for. Looks like you get flames, party/sweets or zkeys.

Also upon just showing one Proof of Legends @ Palora-Sworn of Earth, grants you ONE FREE STORAGE PANE!

New Hype : At the anniversary date MAYBE a miniature & costume/headgear will be handed out aswell, so make sure you have plenty of ANY proofs!!

Actually the easiest thing is just use all your 20 characters or whatever you already have then having to create new ones. But yeah I get what you are saying. Just that on this forum there are probably people with well over a dozen accounts and a hundred or more level 20 characters already.

Augury Rock here I come ... in droves! (And I only have one account).

To me the weapons aren't important though I'm fine with getting them. :-)

The important thing is FINALLY getting that extra pane of storage!!!! If that was it for this celebration it would be fine by me. The weapons are just the icing. The cake was the important thing.

Could someone please do some research for me on the Rival Skies axe(s) and find out how they behave under the effects of a weapon spell? I'm interested in knowing if both axes become spirit axes, if just the main hand one does, if the off-hand axe switches back to a shield, etc.

Exactly, I feel the same way. For once, ANet delivered. I mean, someone had actually to design those weapons, Proof icons, code some stuff in etc. I couldn't have asked for more
